Heavy Response To Brush Fire In Worcester County
The fire spread to two acres, according to the Princeton Fire Department.

PRINCETON, MA — Fire crews went out for the second day for a brush fire in Worcester County.
A brush fire began and spread to two acres on Tuesday in the area of Whitaker Lane and Route 31 at DCR property, according to the Princeton Police Department. Firefighters went back to the location on Wednesday to continue extinguishing the fire.
Princeton's fire chief, John Bennett, told Spectrum News 1 that the fire had gone deep, but they did have it contained on Tuesday night.

More than a dozen other fire departments helped to assist the Princeton Fire Department to put out the brush fire.
