Downtown Westborough Scavenger Hunt Will Assist With Planning Process
A plan to revitalize downtown Westborough will use input from the scavenger hunt going on now.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — An ongoing downtown Westborough scavenger hunt will help the town with a plan to revitalize the area.
The scavenger hunt offers clues to lead visitors to different attractions like restaurants, businesses and historic landmarks. At each stop, participants offer suggestions about how to improve that part of the area — for example, a stop at a restaurant asks for input on how to expand dining and shopping downtown.
"Do you think Westborough's restaurant and retail offerings provide the right mix of businesses or are there additional businesses you would like to see here?" one question asks.

Westborough has hired the firm RKG Associates to develop a downtown plan that will help the town attract business, address zoning issues and emphasize historical and cultural destinations.
Following the scavenger hunt, RKG will hold the first public workshop in the planning process on April 9 at the Forbes Building, 45 West Main St., at 6 p.m. Residents who want to participate in the scavenger hunt can find directions and clues here.
