Off-Duty Cop At Quinsigamond Community College Charged With Assaulting Officer At Big E: Report
The campus cop was put on paid administrative leave from the school.
WORCESTER, MA — An off-duty officer who works at Quinsigamond Community College has been charged after police said she assaulted a detective at the Big E festival in West Springfield, according to the Telegram and Gazette.
Cheyenne Walker, 28, was charged with two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.
The Telegram reported that Walker told a detective, "I am a (expletive) cop too," when he arrived at an altercation between her and another fairgoer, Yanira Smith, on Friday, Sept. 12.

Walker struck the detective in the face, causing his nose to bleed, according to the police report obtained by the Telegram. She was put on paid administrative leave from QCC while the matter is investigated, according to the newspaper.
Smith, 26, was also charged after the incident, according to the Telegram.
