Emergency At Worcester Airport: Massport Drill Planned
Police and fire departments from around the Worcester area will converge on the airport Wednesday.

WORCESTER, MA — It's just a drill.
If you see lots of emergency vehicles Wednesday at Worcester Airport — whether you're flying or just passing by — it's part of a Massachusetts Port Authority exercise to simulate an emergency response.
"This drill will test the coordination, communication and response in the event of a major incident at [Worcester Airport]," Massport said in a news release. "A number of mutual aid partners will be taking part in the drill alongside Massport Fire Rescue, including emergency departments from Worcester, Leicester, Paxton, Rutland, Oakham, Spencer, Holden, Auburn and MA State Police."
