Ex-Employee Allegedly Flashes Gun: Worcester Arrest
An ex-employee allegedly pulled out a gun and made employees at a Lincoln Street business feel nervous.

WORCESTER, MA—A man made some former co-workers nervous when he allegedly showed a gun outside of a store in Worcester.
Around 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, at 8 p.m., police were called to the back of 490 Lincoln St., where a person reportedly had a gun. This ex-employee of one of the stores there was outside, and allegedly held a gun, and took off in the car.
Officers found the car, and saw a woman sitting in the passenger seat, but the man wasn't on the scene. The passenger was identified as Adriana Rodriguez, 40, Pleasant Street. The officer talked to Rodriguez and a man came outside of a nearby apartment, and walked up to the officer. He was searched because of the call, and none were found. He was identified as Luis Irizarry, 25, Maple Tree Lane.

Witnesses said he had handed the gun to a passenger, likely Rodriguez. Officers found the handgun under the front passenger seat, the gun a Smith and Wesson .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun. It also had a clip that held 14 rounds.
Irizarry was placed under arrest and charged with Carrying a Firearm without a License, Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, Improper Storage of a Firearm, Possession of a Large Capacity Weapon, Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, and Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card.

A records check on Rodriguez indicated that she had an outstanding warrant in effect for her arrest. Ms. Rodriguez was also placed under arrest for the warrants. The two were transported to police headquarters without incident.
