Fighting Litter In Worcester And Beyond: Patch Hero
Bonnie Combs is being highlighted as a local hero for her work picking up litter across the region.

WORCESTER, MA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.
This submission comes from Yvette Ayotte-Kind who nominated Bonnie Combs of Worcester for Combs' dedication to picking up litter. Combs works for the Blackstone Valley National Corridor, but in her spare time works to clean up local areas, including an "adopt a storm drain" program to remove refuse from sewer drains.
