Fire At Worcester Apartment Building Extinguished: Report
An apartment complex in Worcester caught fire Wednesday afternoon.
WORCESTER, MA - Firefighters made quick work of a blaze at a Worcester apartment complex this afternoon, according to the Telegram & Gazette.
At 179 Massasoit Road, a fire was reported around 1 p.m. Firefighters arrived at the scene and the first responders quickly put out the flames. While the exterior porches of the building took the brunt, there was no significant damage on the inside of the building. There were no reported injuries, but several tenants will likely be displaced.
The fire is under investigation, Assistant Fire Chief Adam Roche told the Telegram.
