Historic Missile Heads To Worcester Museum
The Polaris Missile has stood in Auburn for over 40 years.

WORCESTER, MA — A missile is soaring to Worcester after spending decades in a neighboring town.
EcoTarium, a science museum in Worcester, recieved a hefty donation to add to its space exhibit. The Polaris Missile, which has spent the last 40 or more years at Goddard Park in Auburn, will be repaired and moved to the museum.
The missile was in dire need of repair, according to the Auburn Fire Department. There is a large split in the metal and rotting on the inside of the missile.
