July Home Prices Up From Last Year In Worcester County: Report

Home prices in July were 4% higher than the year before.

WORCESTER, MA — Home costs in Worcester County for July were higher this year.

The price for a home in Worcester County in July was more than 4% higher than the same month last year, according to a report from the Worcester Business Journal.

Median sales prices went up from $480,500 in July 2024 to $500,000 in July 2025, according to data that WBJ obtained from The Warren Group, which is a Peabody-based real estate research firm.

WBJ reported that the trend of rising prices also played out statewide in July. But for the city of Worcester, the median price of a home for July was actually 3.4% lower than last year.
