'A Kind And Helpful Individual': Worcester Man Remembered After Fatal Motorcycle Crash

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday.

WORCESTER, MA — A man from Worcester who was killed after a crash on the Massachusetts Pike last week is being remembered fondly.

Kevin Allard, who was also known as "Duffy," according to his obituary, is commemorated as a "kind and helpful individual." The 33-year-old was riding a motorcycle when he crashed with a tractor-trailer, according to MassLive.

One of Allard's deepest passions was riding his motorcycle, his obituary stated. He also worked at I Love Frankies, where "he spread kindness and support to those around him, loving the work that allowed him to help others."

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30, at 2 p.m. in Greenville Park in Ware.

"His personality was a beautiful contradiction; he lived recklessly at times, yet he possessed a heart of gold that was evident in everything he did," the obituary stated. "People were drawn to his infectious laughter, and he had an extraordinary ability to make others laugh, even in challenging moments."
