Korean War Veteran Honored With Square Dedication In Worcester

WORCESTER, MA — The City of Worcester is hosting a square dedication ceremony for a veteran.

John D. Kelleher, a late Vietnam War veteran, will be honored with a square dedication ceremony on Sunday. The dedication will take place at the corner of June Street and Hartshorn Avenue.

Kelleher, whose nickname was "Jacky," was a Worcester resident and was killed in action on August 25, 1950. His family members. will be joined by city officials and Korean War representatives for the celebration.
