MA Woman Indicted For Manslaughter, OUI In 2024 Crash That Killed Worcester Woman
That crash led to the death of 51-year-old Leah S. Forrester, according to the Worcester County District Attorney.
WORCESTER, MA — A woman was indicted for manslaughter and other charges for a fatal crash in 2024 that resulted in the death of another woman.
Aphrodite Papoutsides, 28, of Charlton, was accused of driving under the influence when her car collided with another vehicle on Southbridge Road in Charlton on Sept. 21, 2024, according to the Worcester County District Attorney's office.
That crash led to the death of 51-year-old Leah S. Forrester, of Worcester. Three other passengers in the vehicle with Forrester were seriously injured, according to the DA.

Papoutsides was indicted on one count of involuntary manslaughter, one count of manslaughter while operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, one count of motor vehicle homicide by reckless operation, one count of motor vehicle homicide while under the influence, one count of motor vehicle homicide, three counts of operating under the influence causing serious bodily injury, one count of operating under the influence, and one count of reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
Papoutsides will be arraigned on a later date, the DA said.
