Man Charged In Connection To Large-Scale Cocaine Distribution In Worcester

He was accused of trafficking over 200 grams of cocaine, police said.

WORCESTER, MA — A man in Worcester is facing charges in connection with a large-scale distribution of crack cocaine in the city, according to police.

Antonio Brown, 46, was accused of trafficking large quantities of cocaine into Worcester. At the same time, he also had active warrants for his arrest for trafficking over 200 grams of cocaine from an incident earlier this year, police said.

Officers stopped Brown on Elkman Street on Tuesday and arrested him after he entered a vehicle that they had a search warrant. Inside the car, detectives found about 2 kilograms of crack and powder cocaine and about 30 grams of fentanyl, police said.

Brown was charged with trafficking over 200 grams of cocaine, trafficking in fentanyl, in addition to his previous warrant.
