WORCESTER, MA—A man is facing assault charges after allegedly stabbing another man, seriously injuring him.
Around 5:14 on Friday, Sept. 7, police were called to 528 Pleasant St., where a stabbing had just happened. Firefighters on the scene told officers that they were returning from a call when two men were spotted fighting in the parking lot of the Gulf station. Firefighters saw one stab the other and then leave the scene in a black BMW. The victim fled, too, said police.
Police found the suspect car at the intersection of Piedmont Street and Austin Street and pulled him over at Pleasant Street by West Street. When they approached the car, he seemed nervous, said police, and police saw evidence in the car that it was the person involved in the fight.
