Man Indicted In Shooting Death Of 26-Year-Old Jason Mayhew On Southgate Street
He is now being held on a $100,000 cash bail.
WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man was indicted on manslaughter charges after being accused of shooting and killing another man in June.
Enrique Antonio Canales-Martinez, 26, was arraigned on Tuesday in Worcester Superior Court on one count of manslaughter. On June 21, officers responded to the area of Southgate Street in Worcester, where 26-year-old Jason Mayhew was lying on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds, according to the DA.
Mayhew was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the DA said.

Canales-Martinez was held on a $100,000 cash bail. His next court date is set for Oct. 23.
