'Scene Was Chaotic': Man Shot At Worcester Bus Station

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police are investigating a shooting that left one person wounded Wednesday night at the WRTA bus hub along Foster Street.

According to Worcester police, the shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. Police arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound, and a large crowd gathered.

"There was a large crowd present and the scene was chaotic. The male was given medical aid and transported to the hospital by ambulance," police said in a brief news release about the shooting.

The shooting was still under investigation Thursday morning, and police did not immediately publicize any arrests related to the incident.
