WEST BOYLSTON, MA — The driver who died after crashing into a Devens health center early Wednesday morning has been identified as a 62-year-old West Boylston man, according to the Worcester County District Attorney's Office.

John Ahern Jr. crashed a truck into the TaraVista Behavioral Health Care Center around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday. The truck caught fire, and Ahern was determined to have died at the scene, the DA's office said. No one inside the building was hurt.

The DA's office said Thursday the cause of the crash is still under investigation. NBC Boston reported Wednesday that the crash may have been deliberate, citing an unnamed law enforcement source.
