Man Who Fractured Infant's Skull Sentenced In Worcester Court: Report

A man was convicted in Worcester Superior Court for fracturing an infant's skull.

WORCESTER, MA - Edwin Esteva III, a 38-year-old man from Hardwick, was sentenced to two-to-three years in state prison for fracturing a one-year-old child's skull, according to the Telegram & Gazette.

The sentence was handed down in Worcester Superior Court, and court records show Esteva was convicted of reckless child endangerment and permitting substantial injury to a child. He was arrested in October 2020, and police stated they believed he was abusing the child regularly.

The infant's mother, who is deaf, could reportedly not hear what was happening.
