NYE Murder Victim Was Still Alive Before He Was Abandoned: Report

The victim of a killing on New Year's Eve was allegedly still alive when he was put into the bed of his own truck.

WORCESTER, MA - The victim of a New Year's Eve Killing, a 32-year-old from Worcester, was not yet dead before he was left beaten, according to the Telegram & Gazette.

Mitchell Burke, the victim, was found in Hubbardston on Jan. 4. Ryan Wilcox, 32, of Thompson, CT. was arraigned on an upgraded charge of murder. Court documents obtained by the Telegram revealed that Wilcox, along with alleged accessories Richard Gabrila, 39, of Worcester, and Shane Bowen, 28, of Warren, transported the victim from Worcester to Hubbardston.

They heard "gurgling" coming from the back of the truck which prompted Wilcox to hand a metal bat to Bowen to "finish off" Burke, according to the statement of facts obtained by the Telegram.
