Worcester Parking Ban Declared For This Weekend

WORCESTER, MA - The city of Worcester announced there will be a winter parking ban starting Saturday, Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. in anticipation of the incoming winter storm.

Restrictions are: No parking on main arteries, emergency and bus routes, downtown critical streets. Parking is only allowed on odd-numbered sides of other streets unless posted otherwise.

Free garage parking is available starting at 5 p.m. Saturday. Major Taylor Garage will not be available.

The following garages are available:

• Federal Plaza Garage, 570 Main St.
• Pearl & Elm Garage, 20 Pearl St.
• Worcester Common Garage, 3 Eaton Pl.
• Union Station Garage, 225 Franklin St.
