Police Seek Suspects In Walgreens Armed Robbery

The man threatened the pharmacist and demanded that she hand over some prescription drugs.

WORCESTER, MA—Detectives are looking to the public to help find two suspects involved in a commercial armed robbery at the Walgreens on Park Ave early Sunday morning.

Around 6 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14, police were called to the Walgreens at 320 Park Ave., where a pharmacist said that a man had jumped over the counter and pointed a gun at her. The suspect threatened her and demanded that she hand over some prescription drugs. Two suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of pills from the pharmacy. Afterward, the suspects were spotted on Abbott Street as they drove off in a dark colored, smaller SUV headed north on Park Ave. from Pleasant Street.

There were no injuries reported.
