Prison Stabbing Draws Massive Crowd To Court Arraignment: Report
After a stabbing of multiple prison guards in Lancaster, Worcester District Court was packed with correctional officers for the arraignment.
WORCESTER, MA - A trio of inmates charged in connection to a stabbing of multiple prison guards at a correction center in Lancaster were arraigned in the Worcester District Court Wednesday, according to the Telegram & Gazette.
The courthouse was filled with correctional officers, including Stephen Adams, one of the guards who was stabbed repeatedly in the attack. The Telegram reported that at least 60 correctional officers were present for the arraignment, as well as District Attorney Joseph Early.
5 correctional officers were sent to hospitals following the Sept. 18 attack at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center, and the assailants were charged with a slew of offenses.
