Ramp From I-90 To Route 146 Closing For Maintenance: MassDOT

MILLBURY, MA — The main Mass Pike exit to reach the Worcester area will be closed overnight Friday so MassDOT crews can perform maintenance.

The ramp will close at 9 p.m. Friday, and should reopen by 5 a.m. on Saturday. The detour may mean extra traffic along the exit to Route 122 just before Route 146.

Here's the detour that will be in place during the maintenance work:

• When the I-90 westbound exit 94 off-ramp (Route 146) is closed, traffic will be directed to follow the detour signs and use exit 96 (Route 122) and Route 20 to access Route 146. Alternatively, traffic can continue I-90 westbound and use exit 90 (I-290 eastbound/I-395) to reverse direction to I-90 eastbound back to exit 94.
