WORCESTER, MA - Worcester's Department of Public Works will go before the city's Conservation Commission on Monday Dec. 30 to propose renovations to Lake View Playground, Beaver Brook Park and Great Brook Valley Park. The planned renovations are: <ul><li>Lake View Playground: Build a playground, basketball court, walkways, seating areas and storm water infrastructure in place of existing site improvements. </li><li>Beaver Brook Park: Install water connections, bottle fillers, play equipment for dogs and trash receptacles. Additionally, a stone resurfacing will be done. </li><li>Great Brook Valley Park: New athletic courts, a parking area and walkways will be constructed along the existing softball field. </li></ul> Additional updates will be provided after the meeting should they be necessary.
