Santa Crawl To Raise Money For CASA Project Worcester County

WORCESTER, MA — A third annual Santa Crawl will kick off this month, all to raise money for CASA Project Worcester County, which helps advocate for the best interests of youth involved in the child welfare system.

The event, hosted by the Canal District alliance, will be on Dec. 13. All funds will go toward CASA and its yearly fundraising goal of $5,000.

It will begin with a welcome party at White Eagle on Green Street with live music, raffles, and snacks, before heading to the next location.

Here is a timeline of events:

• Welcome Party: 1 to 3 PM at White Eagle, 116-120 Green St.
• Crawl: 3 to 6:30 p.m. at various locations
• After party: 6:30 p.m. at Mai Tai Sushi and Bar, 69 Green St.

The crawl stops throughout the historic Canal District, including 107 Tap, 1885 Worcester, American Flatbread, Bay State Brewing Company, Boland’s Irish Pub, El Patron Mexican Restaurant, Shannon’s Irish Ale House, The Banner Bar & Grill, and Wachusett Brew Yard.

Crawlers are invited to wear holiday attire for a chance to win the best costume.

Pre-registration is available online until Dec. 10; after that, tickets will only be sold in person at the Welcome Party. You can find more information here.
