Second Worcester Triple Shooting Suspect Arrested: Police

Three people were injured Sunday night in the shooting along Clarkson Street.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police have arrested a second suspect following the Sunday night triple-shooting along Clarkson Street.

The shooting happened around 9 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Coral Street in the Union Hill neighborhood. Two 18-year-old women and a 17-year-old boy were found injured at the scene by police.

On Monday, police said they arrested Jordany Alejo, 18, of Arlington Street on charges of three counts of armed assault to murder.

On Wednesday, Worcester police said they arrested Levon Atupem, 23, of Holden, after seeing a vehicle registered to him parked along Park Avenue. Atupem was arrested around 3 a.m. when an officer saw him getting into the car. Atupem was arrested on charges of three counts of armed assault to murder with a gun, plus charges of being an accessory to assault before the fact and accessory after the fact.
