Sobriety Checkpoint Coming To Worcester County: State Police

A sobriety checkpoint is coming to Worcester County, as the State Police announced the implementation to better detect drunk driving.

WORCESTER, MA - The Massachusetts State Police announced Wednesday night that a sobriety checkpoint will be implemented in Worcester County for a limited time.

Next weekend, between Friday, Feb. 21 and Saturday, Feb. 22, the Massachusetts State Police will hold the sobriety checkpoint to monitor inbound motorists who may operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol. The selection of vehicles will not be arbitrary, and the hours the checkpoint is active may vary.
