Spray Paint Attack Suspect Appearing In Court: Report

The man, allegedly an owner of a Worcester Italian restaurant, who attacked another person with spray paint is due in court today.

WORCESTER, MA - John Piccolo, the owner of Piccolo's, a local Italian restaurant, was arraigned in court this morning for a spray paint attack that took place last year, according to the Telegram & Gazette.

The assault took place last November outside of a Worcester City Council meeting.

"Sorry I'm shaken up, the owner of Piccolo's just spray-painted my face out there," David Webb, a local artist, told councilors, Boston.com reported back in November.

Piccolo was charged with Assault and Battery With a Dangerous Weapon. He was released today on personal recognizance.
