STEM Expo For Young Girls Coming To Central MA This Month

WORCESTER, MA — A STEM Expo for girls in grades four through eight is happening this month in Worcester.

The Geek Is Glam Expo is a day-long interactive conference at Worcester Polytechnic Institute on Oct. 11. The event, hosted by the Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts, allows girls to participate in hands-on workshops alongside some of the region's top scientists and engineers.

The expo will feature opening remarks and a keynote speaker, as well as a full day of activities.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at WPI, located at 100 Institute Rd.
