Train Carrying A Flammable Substance Derails In Worcester: Report
A train carrying a flammable substance derailed in Worcester near Cambridge Street Sunday afternoon.
WORCESTER, MA - 6 train cars carrying a highly flammable substance derailed in Worcester on Sunday, according to CBS News.
Around 12:15 p.m. the train derailed in a Worcester rail yard on Cambridge street. The cars were reportedly carrying ethanol, and officials said there is no threat to the neighborhood and they hope to have the trains on the tracks today.
There were no reported injuries, and the Worcester Fire Department does not believe there was a leak.
