Troopers Not Guilty Of Excessive Force In Arrest Of Dentist
Three troopers were found not guilty of using excessive force on a Connecticut dentist during an arrest on the Mass. Pike in 2014.

AUBURN, MA—Troopers didn't use excessive force when they arrested a Connecticut dentist on the Mass. Pike in Auburn on March of 2014, according to a federal jury on Monday.
Troopers Joseph J. Hilton, Douglas P. Grout and William R. Kokocinski, were found not guilty of using excessive force on Oscar E. Gonzalez, reports the Telegram and Gazette.
Gonzalez alleged that Hilton stopped him for speeding and then called him a racial slur and hit him, and that the other troopers used force, too. After his arrest, the 51-year-old had a broken riband tooth, bleeding in his ear and a laceration on his scalp, as well as a rash on his genitals. He had also been pepper sprayed.
