Unease In Courthouse Following Piccolo's Arraignment: Report

Some tension accompanied the arraignment Friday morning, as Worcester restauranteur Ryan Piccolo was in court for a spray paint attack.

WORCESTER, MA - This morning's arraignment for Ryan Piccolo, the man charged with assault after he attacked a local artist with spray paint, featured some post-hearing tension, according to the Telegram & Gazette.

Piccolo, the owner of Piccolo's, a local Italian restaurant, was in the courthouse for his arraignment following a spray paint attack on David Webb, a Worcester-based artist, last November.

Following the arraignment, Webb's partner told to a court officer that someone standing with Piccolo allegedly threatened him. The Telegram & Gazette reported that they asked the man if he threatened Piccolo's partner, and he stated he didn't know who the person was. He did not give his name.
