Vehicle Thefts Were Up In Worcester Last Month, Police Said

WORCESTER, MA — The number of stolen vehicles in Worcester was up in November, according to police.

A total of 29 vehicles were stolen in Worcester in November, up from 20 stolen cars in October. Police said that 45 percent of the vehicles were opportunity-based thefts, like keys left inside or a vehicle left running.

Police also shared a map of the incident locations and said many of the thefts occurred in the Dorchester Street and Providence Street areas.
