Find Out If You're Eligible For Westborough's Senior/Veteran Tax Plan
Starting Thursday, Jan. 2, Westborough will be taking applicants for its senior/veteran tax work plan.
WESTBOROUGH, MA - The West Borough Council on Aging released its January 2025 newsletter. The big update centers on Westborough’s veteran property tax work program.
Applications for the senior/veteran property tax work program are available beginning Thursday, Jan. 2, at the senior center, the assessor’s office, the veteran’s office and the town website. It allows residents to volunteer 133 hours to earn a $1,995 credit on their 2026 fiscal year property tax bill.
Qualified applicants must be the owner/occupant of their home as primary residence, a veteran who is 60 or older and a resident of Westborough for a minimum of five years.
