WORCESTER, MA - On Jan. 7 the Worcester City Council will hear a citizen petition demanding a ceasefire and return of hostages in the current conflict in Gaza.

The petition was initially introduced by Patricia Kirkpatrick and Claire Schaeffer-Duffy, two Worcester residents, last October. The council refused to hear it then, but now it has returned to the agenda.

The first 2025 meeting of the Worcester City Council will take place Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the East Howland Chamber. Read the full resolution at this link here.
