Worcester Council OKs $500K Request For LGBTQ Community: Report
Worcester City Council approved a petition to the city manager requesting $5ooK in annual funds to address the needs of the LGBTQ community.

WORCESTER, MA - Tuesday night the Worcester City Council approved a petition requesting the city manager, Eric Batista, to allocate $500,000 in annual funds toward addressing the needs of the LGBTQ community, according to MassLive.
The petition calls for the formation of a Queer and Trans Resilience fund, and the distribution of funds would be determined by a committee comprised of LGBTQ Worcester residents.
