Worcester County DA Hosts Event On Holistic Approaches To Substance Use Recovery

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early is hosting a free event focused on holistic approaches to substance use treatment and recovery.

The event, set for Oct. 23 from 8 a.m. to noon, will feature keynote speaker Linda Geraghty, a trauma-informed yoga instructor and dedicated family recovery specialist, along with a panel discussion featuring professionals in wellness, nutrition, and fitness.

DA Early has been focused on addressing the root of the polysubstance use crisis and the effects of trauma.

He was recently awarded for his work to address addiction. Veterans, Inc. presented him with their Behavioral Health of Spirit Award. The award recognizes his leadership in programs and access to addiction treatment.
