Worcester Libraries To Start Curbside Service Soon
Following the coronavirus shutdown, library branches in Worcester will soon begin lending again.

WORCESTER, MA — As coronavirus wanes in Massachusetts, libraries across the state are starting to lend again, including two branches of the Worcester Public Library system.
Starting Jun 8, the main library downtown and the Frances Perkins Branch, 470 West Boylston St., will offer curbside service. Library patrons can request materials online, and then head to one of those two branches to pick them up.
Patrons can only request materials held in collections at three branches: the main library, Frances Perkins, Great Brook Valley, and the mobile vehicle.

Worcester Public Libraries have been closed since March due to coronavirus. It's unclear when the libraries will fully reopen again. All materials checked out before the closure are automatically renewed through July 1, according to the library.
