Worcester Man Charged With Firearm Possession

WORCESTER, MA - The Worcester Police Department charged a local man with several firearms-related offenses.

Lakeam Bennett, 32, was arrested at his residence on Fiske Street after officers executed a search warrant. They found a loaded firearm that Bennett was not licensed to carry and what appeared to be prescription-less Oxycodone pills.

Bennett was charged with Unlawfully Carrying a Firearm, Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, Improper Storage of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, Resisting Arrest and Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute.
