Worcester Man Charged With Trafficking Fentanyl, Having Unlicensed Gun

Officers found 13 individually packaged rocks of crack cocaine on his person, according to WPD.

WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man is facing charges after police said he was trafficking fentanyl and had a gun.

Peter Hicks, 65, was arrested on Monday after police executed search warrants for an apartment and a pickup truck in Worcester. During a search, officers found individually packaged rocks of crack cocaine, suspected counterfeit pills containing Fentanyl, and an unsecured handgun and ammunition.

Hicks was charged with Trafficking in Fentanyl more than 10 grams, Possession to Distribute Cocaine (subsequent offense), Carrying a Firearm Without a License, Use of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of Ammunition w/out a FID, and Improper Storage of a Firearm.
