Man Bites Cop: Worcester Officer's Ear Chomped During Arrest
Worcester police went after the man in the Bell Hill neighborhood to arrest him on six warrants for "serious charges."

WORCESTER, MA — A man bit and injured a Worcester police officer over the weekend during a violent arrest in the Bell Hill neighborhood.
The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. Sunday when Worcester officers were at a home along Channing Street for a separate investigation. One of the officers saw Thomas Lee Frazier, 48, going into a home, and recognized him due to him having six warrants for "serious charges."
When police confronted Frazier, he charged at them, the department reported in a news release. He chomped on one officer's ear during the fight, causing bleeding.

When police subdued Frazier, he was arrested on the warrants, plus charges including assault and battery on a police officer, assault to maim, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and resisting arrest.
