Worcester Parking Ban Tonight, Heavy Snow Inbound
Ahead of tonight's expected snowfall, Worcester has issued a parking ban and declared several garages to be fare-free.

WORCESTER, MA - Due to expected snow, the city of Worcester has declared a parking ban for tonight.
Starting at 11 p.m. tonight, Jan. 28 no one will be permitted to park on main arteries, emergency and bus routes and critical downtown streets. Parking is allowed only on odd-numbered sides on other streets unless posted otherwise.
Free garage parking begins at 6 p.m. in the following garages:

- Federal Plaza Garage, 570 Main St.
- Pearl & Elm Garage, 20 Pearl St.
- Worcester Common Garage, 3 Eaton Pl.
- Union Station Garage, 225 Franklin St.
- Major Taylor Blvd. Garage, 30 Major Taylor Blvd.
Cars parked in banned locations will be towed or ticketed. Trash and recycling are still expected to be picked up on Wednesday, Jan. 29 with no anticipated delay.
