Worcester Police Book Male On Stabbing Charge
A man was accused of stabbing a woman early Thursday morning.

WORCESTER, MA - A female was injured and a Worcester man, Gunga Collis, 54, was arrested following a stabbing in Worcester early Thursday morning.
Responding officers found a female victim suffering from stab wounds to her legs and arms. She was transported to a nearby hospital. Officers spoke with the victim at the hospital, who told them she grabbed against her will and took out a knife to protect herself. The man took out his own knife and started stabbing her, according to the police.
Police found Collis on Grafton Street and placed him under arrest. He was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
