Worcester Police Book 2 On Drug Charges

The Worcester Police Department charged two individuals with a slew of drug-related offenses.

WORCESTER, MA - The Worcester Police Department charged two people with drug-related offenses after a traffic stop on Jan. 14.

The passenger, Phisath Saphirak, 51, had three outstanding warrants associated with the vehicle. There was methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on the floor, and the operator, Theresa Mascroft, 41, had a purse containing significant amounts of fentanyl and various pills.

Mascroft was charged with Possession to Distribute Class B, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class E, Trafficking in Class N 18-36 Grams, Fentanyl Trafficking in More Than 10 Grams and a Stop Sign Violation.

Saphirak was charged with Possession of a Class B substance, Possession to Distribute Class B and three warrants.
