Worcester Police Charge Hopedale Woman In Connection To Stabbing

A woman was charged in connection to a stabbing reported in the early morning hours of Feb. 28.

WORCESTER, MA - The Worcester Police Department (WPD) charged a woman in connection with a stabbing in the early hours of Friday morning.

According to a news release issued by the WPD, officers responded to a reported stabbing at Hurricane Betty's, an adult entertainment club in Worcester, just after 2 a.m. Police found a male with a stab wound in his neck.

The victim said he was stabbed and sprayed with pepper spray when he tried to intervene in an argument between his friend and a female.

Abigail Gallagher, 31, of Hopedale, was arrested and charged with Armed Assault with Intent to Murder and two counts of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
