Worcester Police Recover Firearms From Apartment

Officers found several guns and ammunition at an apartment Thursday evening.

WORCESTER, MA - The Worcester Police Department recovered several firearms from an apartment on Thursday evening, according to a news release.

Officers obtained a search warrant for a unit on Lafayette Street and searched the apartment around 5:50 p.m. They detained multiple people inside and found a shotgun, rifle, several shotgun shells and different types of ammunition. Brian Rodriguez, 35, was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession of a Firearm without a Firearms Identification (FID) Card and three counts of Possession of Ammunition without a FID Card.
