Worcester Relaunches Internship Program Through Academic Health Collaborative
Here's how you can apply.
WORCESTER, MA — The city has relaunched a program that offers flexible, hands-on internships to undergraduate, graduate and recently graduated students.
The Academic Health Collaborative, which runs in spring, summer and fall, is meant to prepare future public health leaders for local workforce needs. Interns gain experience in a variety of project areas.
“The Academic Health Collaborative is a reminder that leadership is not inherited—it is cultivated,” said Tamara Lundi, Director of Worcester's Division of Public Health. “By investing in the growth of future leaders while empowering the leaders of now, we plant seeds of innovation, equity, and hope that will shape the health of Worcester for generations to come.”
