Worcester Resident Selected To Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society

Keli Lemoi of Worcester was one of few students nationwide to receive the distinctive honor.

WORCESTER, MA - Keli Lemoi of Worcester was recently elected as a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective honor society, at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Twenty thousand students, faculty, staff and alumni are initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year - on an invitation-only basis. A chapter nominates and subsequently approves each selection, and only the top 10% of seniors and 7.5% of juniors are eligible for membership, according to the society.

Founded in 1897 by Marcus L. Urann, cranberry farmer and cofounder of Ocean Spray, Phi Kappa Phi is an honor society that recognizes excellence in all academic disciplines. There are chapters on over 300 campuses in the United States, its territories and the Philippines.
