Worcester Residents Busted For Cocaine, Fentanyl: WDP

Several Worcester residents were charged with trafficking in heroin and cocaine after a police investigation over the weekend.

WORCESTER, MA - The Worcester Police Department charged several Worcester residents in a cocaine and fentanyl bust.

On Feb. 14, Worcester officers were on surveillance near Park Avenue and noticed a man hiding behind a dumpster and wandering around. Richard Pileggi, 55, was then involved in a hand-to-hand transaction with the driver of an Acura.

Police recovered cocaine from Pileggi, who had an outstanding warrant for arrest. They then stopped the Acura and arrested Gary Tyndale, 47, of Vineyard Street. Later, officers executed a search warrant on Tyndale's residence and found cocaine, fentanyl and packaging materials.

Tyndale and another resident, Andre Tyndale, were charged with Trafficking in Heroin 37-99 Grams, Trafficking in Cocaine and Possession of a Class D Substance with Intent to Distribute.
