Worcester Shooting Victim Crashed Into Home: Police

The man crashed into a house in a neighborhood off of Lincoln Street Tuesday night.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police are investigating after a man was found shot Tuesday night after crashing his car into a home.

Police responded to the crash Tuesday around 9 p.m. along Paine Street in a neighborhood just west of Green Hill Park. Police found the driver inside suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police did not immediately know the condition of the shooting victim, and did not immediately announce any arrests.

The shooting follows an incident on Friday where a 14-year-old died while handling a gun in a home in the Bell Hill area. Worcester police have arrested two people under 18 in connection to that death on undisclosed charges.
